Fatherhood

For those from the area, if you remember those old Detroit Zoo commercials with the meerkats running past with one saying “This way, guys!” and another animal says “Wrong way, guys.”  Then they all run back the other way?  Yeah, a pack of kids has even worse sense of direction than that.  About the same energy levels as those meerkats, too, just zipping back and forth all over the place.  Still, they had fun, got lots of outdoor exercise, and hung out with friends, so it’s all good.  Have to wonder how long it would’ve taken them to figure it out had we not called out to them, though.  Yes, both times.

My shirt is just clarifying that I’m “Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult”, while Stacy’s laendar shirt features a unicorn running free in the wind… sort of like some kids that I know.  Arwyn’s shirt says “Dance dance dance your heart out” which had previously been seen on Kia, at some point, while Kia’s shirt features a chromatic zebra and says “Stripes are better than dots.”
