Fatherhood

Ah, yes, my lovely little space cadet.  She’s really smart, and great at picking up on patterns and details that could easily be missed… but don’t expect her to see the blatantly obvious without it being pointed out to her, and she contemplates the universe on a very regular basis.  Gee, ADD much?  Working on writing assignments are especially “fun,” as she has great ideas, and can tell you alllll about them.  Of course, the part about actually writing them down takes ten times longer, because she’ll get halfway through a word and start daydreaming again.  She really does love looking at stars and constellations, though!

I’m wearing my 80s fantasy movie shirt, with everything from Dark Crystal to Gremlins on it, while Stacy’s wearing her Hairy Otter shirt that we got from the Detroit Zoo.  Kia’s sporting a sweatshirt with a technicolour elephant on it.  Why?  Why not?
