Fatherhood

I believe that Arwyn’s first words after getting back from her run was “why did I do this?!”  I jogged the last bit of it beside her to keep her going because she was ready to tap out, but she was SO close.  She made it, though!  Her new friend beat her, but Arwyn was second of their group.  Kia stuck to her guns on having zero desire to run that far; at least I can appreciate her ability to stand up to peer pressure, even if it was a healthy activity.  😛  Of course, an hour later, they went to the nearby playground with their friends and ran around like maniacs, so…  whatever.  😉

I’m wearing my Star Wars ESB shirt while thinking cool thoughts, because we were out in the sun a LOT that day, while Stacy’s keeping with spring colours (It’s not summer, yet!  Technically.) by wearing her green blouse – it has a cool little design at the bottom of it that you can’t see, but trust me.  No, you can’t look under the table to see it; don’t be rude.  Anyway, Kia’s shirt features a very colourful butterfly, while Arwyn’s has a rabbit surrounded by flowers, so they’re both doing the spring thing, too.
