Fatherhood

The “under arrest” thing originally came up at my mom’s house while Kia was playing my cousin’s son. (Second cousin?  Cousin once removed?  I can never remember how that works, but we’ve removed him a few times and he keeps coming back. ;P )  They had a pair of toy handcuffs, so we were telling Kia that he was under arrest, which she mistook for “a rest.”  A week or two later and she brings it up while we’re playing.  Took me a moment to figure it out, then she was probably wondering why I was laughing so much.  Kia is a natural-born punster; I’m so proud!  😀

I’m wearing one of my Nature Force shirts, this one with a trio of wolves, while Kia’s wearing a Frozen shirt with Olaf and “warm hearted.”  And, of course, she’s wearing her Batman cape, which she still loves to play in.  And, no, she’s not “Batgirl,” she’s BatMAN… and don’t try to tell her differently!  😉
