Fatherhood

Kia thinks bugs are pretty cool… to look at.  She doesn’t want anything to do with touching them, but then again, she felt the same way about toads.  The one exception has been a woolly-bear caterpillar, which she let walk around on her hand and thought it was pretty awesome.  We’ve done our best to avoid demonstrating any disgust or disdain for bugs (beyond the occasional mashing!), yet she’s still creeped out by them… unless they’re just pictures; then it’s all good.

I’m wearing my Nature Force “Extinction is Forever” sweatshirt with a lovely little wolf embroidered on it, while Stacy’s wearing a simple, green blouse.  Kia’s all kinds of festive, wearing her Halloween Hello Kitty shirt (and skirt, not that you can see it here).
